The Molkerei Alois Müller dairy alone needs 102,000 tons of fruit annually - and of course in the highest quality. The fruits are processed at the sister company Alois Müller Naturfarm, the number three fruit processing company in Europe.
The processing process from the picked fruits to the ready to eat yogurt is demanding and complex. 460 different fruit combinations provide the basis for the fruit preparations, which are prepared daily by a total of 100 employees for the dairy products - such as froop or corner yogurt. "Our great competitive advantage is that we can process fruit mass daily in our own company and do not have to buy in", says Thomas Kösters, Head of Fruit Proccessing Naturfarm Alois Müller in Aretsried. When new products are launched on the market, the intended fruit preparation is first tested in the natural farm for taste, consistency, fruit content and appearance.
