Analysis tools
This website uses the analysis tool Matomo, an open-source web analysis tool (https://matomo.org/) as well as the meta pixel (https://www.facebook.com/business/tools/meta-pixel).

Matomo uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. For this purpose, the usage information generated by the cookie (including your shortened IP address) is transmitted to our server and stored for usage analysis purposes, which serves to optimise the website on our part. Your IP address is immediately anonymised during this process, so that you as a user remain anonymous to us. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is not passed on to third parties. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

If you do not agree to the storage and evaluation of this data from your visit, you can object to its storage and use at any time by clicking on it below. In this case, a so-called opt-out cookie will be stored in your browser, which means that Matomo will not collect any session data. Please note: If you delete your cookies, this will also delete the opt-out cookie and you may have to reactivate it.

With the help of the meta pixel (or comparable functions for the transmission of event data or contact information by means of interfaces in apps), it is possible for Facebook and Instagram to determine the visitors to the website as a target group for the display of advertisements (so-called "Facebook ads", "Instagram ads").

UTM uses the meta pixel to display the Facebook and Instagram ads placed by UTM only to those users on Facebook and Instagram and within the services of partners cooperating with Facebook (so-called "Audience Network" www.facebook.com/audiencenetwork/) who have also shown an interest in UTM's website or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interest in certain topics or products that are evident from the websites visited) that UTM transmits to Facebook (so-called "Custom Audiences").

With the help of the meta pixel, the UTM also wants to ensure that the Facebook and Instagram ads correspond to the potential interest of the users and do not act as a nuisance. With the help of the meta pixel, the UTM can track the effectiveness of the Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users were redirected to the website after clicking on a Facebook ad (so-called "conversion measurement"). The service provider is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.

The joint responsibility is limited to the collection by and transfer of data to Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, a company based in the EU. Further processing of the data is the sole responsibility of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, which concerns in particular the transfer of the data to the parent company Meta Platforms, Inc. in the USA (on the basis of the standard contractual clauses concluded between Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and Meta Platforms, Inc.)
