UTM set to take over Ger­man dairy busi­ness

Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller confirms the successful conclusion of a purchase agreement with Hochwald Foods GmbH for the acquisition of the trademark rights and products of the Elinas and Lünebest brands. The acquisition includes the Lüneburg site with 150 employees. Local production will be maintained.

The proposed acquisition has already been submitted to the relevant competition authorities for review.

Subject to the approval of the competition authorities, the acquisition will complement the Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller's dairy product portfolio in an area where it has previously been represented in Germany primarily with private labels.
