Un­ternehmens­gruppe Theo Müller ap­points new Chief Fin­an­cial Of­ficer

Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller today announced the appointment of Dr Bernd Metzner as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). 

Bernd Metzner will take up his new role on 1 September 2025, thereby completing the Group Executive Board of the Luxembourg-based company. He will take over from David Thieser, Chief Human Resources Officer of the Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller, who has successfully performed the role of CFO on an interim basis in addition to his other responsibilities over the past few months.

Bernd Metzner is joining the Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller from Gerresheimer AG. He has been CFO of the international supplier of pharmaceutical packaging and drug delivery systems since 2019. Prior to this, he was Chief Financial Officer at Ströer SE & Co. KGaA, a leading German company for outdoor advertising, digital media and dialogue marketing. Metzner gained industry experience in the food industry from 2011 to 2014 as CFO of Döhler Group SE.
