In collaboration with our global locations, we have developed a cross-location process that promotes a high-performance and future-orientated development culture.
To ensure the success and competitiveness of UTM, the targeted development of employees and their long-term and strategic commitment to the company is of great importance. For this reason Perform & Grow focusses on developing the strengths and potential of employees in a targeted manner - with the active support of the manager as a central companion throughout the entire growth process.

Evaluations
My Self Evaluation
This step is optional, but is recommended for all employees to prepare for their own performance review.
- Available from 1st of March
- Individual preparation for the performance review
- Opportunity to reflect on your own performance
- Promotion of dialogue between employee and manager
- Active involvement in shaping personal development
Manager Review
In this process step, the manager evaluates their employee.
- Available from 1st of March– 30th of September
- Individual preparation through a system-supported, intuitive process
- Fair assessment of employees based on standardised and objective criteria
- Identification of strengths and potential
- Promotion of employee development by defining development goals
- Facilitation of dialogue in the 1:1 meeting
1:1 Meeting
The 1:1 meeting provides an opportunity to look back on the past year together, recognise performance and successes and discuss individual professional development.
The aim of the meeting is to have an open and constructive dialogue in which both the employee's strengths and potential areas for development are identified. In addition, concrete goals and measures for the coming year should be defined together in order to provide the best possible support for professional development.
Your manager will invite you to share your thoughts and feedback openly in the 1:1 meeting so that you can work together on your further development.
Criteria and Scales
Performance Criteria
Observations from the last 12 months are used to assess performance. Employees are assessed on the basis of comprehensible situations and their behaviour using the defined performance criteria.

Performance is assessed on a five-point scale and is intended to help make the assessment as clear and transparent as possible:
